From Rep. Sorg:
Legislative “Special Session” Trashes Representative Government
Citizens of New Hampshire who fail to follow the activities of their state government do so at the peril of their freedom and property. A stark demonstration why took place this week.
On Wednesday, June 4th, Governor Lynch invoked an obscure, nearly obsolete provision of the New Hampshire Constitution […]

Having proudly served in the NH Senate and House with Sen. Bob Clegg I gladly endorsed his run for the US Congress in District 2. he and I were founding members of the “Bob” caucus in the Senate - Clegg, Flanders, Odell, Letourneau, and Boyce. He and I were also involved with the founding of […]

The TCS Wastebasket
Congress Needs to Take On Cost Overruns — Too often, the lawmakers can’t agree on where there is waste in government. The problem is that everything in Washington, D.C. seems to have an army of lobbyists and powerful lawmakers playing defense at the slightest hint of trouble. But we think a recent […]

The Democrats in the NH Senate are balking on a bill to take away the driver’s licenses of sex offenders who refuse to comply with the sex offender registry laws. It can’t be they don’t want to disenfranchise these poor criminals, Gov. Lynch vetoed the bill to require them to show a photo ID to […]

USA Today has a piece on how the only sector still growing the number of new hires is state and local government. It talks about how this is softening the blow of a private sector reduction in new hirin and that government hiring can be a result of economic downturns.
Problem is, it also points out […]

I’m careful about who I allow to post comments on my site. people who assume names of bizzare counter culture fictional characters at Hotmail do not get access - but some such fictional person responded to my piece about Fosters Daily Democrat failing to name the party of a Democrat state Rep. being arrested:
You […]

The headline:
State rep. Nancy Warren arrested again
Says a lot - State Rep (I think it should be capitalized - even when they are arrested) is arrested AGAIN!
But the story omits which party claims her. The Fosters Daily Democrat seems to have neglected to mention her party - any guesses?

Mike Huckabee has changed his focus - from the White House to the other House - and the Senate.
HuckPac.com
Huckpac is raising money to support Republican candidates. One of my best friends from the NH Senate is among the first to be supported, Sen. Bob Clegg - running for the 2nd district House seat in NH. […]

Judge Coffey, who conspired with her now disbarred husband to conceal the money he apparently looted from his elderly clients has belatedly done the right thing.
Had she been a “Commoner” her transgressions would have landed her in jail! But as a member of the black robed oligarchy that actually rules the once free state of […]
