Today is a a great day for conservative politics. I don’t know a lot about Scott Brown but what I do know is that if any Republican could win the “Kennedy seat” the winds of Change have indeed reversed direction from the past two election cycles.

I lost my seat in the 2006 “sea change” and many others lost their in the continued flow of that first wave. But the ebb tide is now set to remove the flotsam that was washed ashore.

Anyone in Colorado interested in a conservative campaigner with ten years experience to help with their effort this year? I’ll dust off my resume’.

Turning solar energy into goop that burns – Algae energy?

Algae to energy? Well – it has been done before, only the goop is black and has been stored underground for millions of years. The oil that runs our economy (even though the Obamanistas try to kill it off) was originally solar energy converted by algae and other organisms into a carbon rich goo. Some became oil, some became coal, some natural gas and there is lots still of it in the ground – even in this country – but Obama and Salazar won’t let us use it. (And Clinton stole gobs of coal from the people of Utah with the “stroke of a pen, law of the land”).

$78 million a drop in the proverbial bucket but the free market would do it at no cost to the taxpayer if the government would just get out of the way. The profits from oil and gas exploration and production are being used to create alternative energy – the energy companies want to stay in the energy business – even if it is not Oil or Gas. They know that at some point other sources of energy will supplant petro. But if the government keeps meddling and trying to put the energy companies out of business or tax them into oblivion then there will be much less investment into energy. Want billions invested in energy – get Washington out of the way!

Obama Bows to Japanese, will probably apologize for Hiroshima!

Obama has once again done what no US President has ever and should never do. He has bowed to the leader of another country.

While he is there he will, without shame, apologize for Hiroshima. The Japanese are not owed an apology since they started the war, they invaded and enslaved numerous peaceful nations, they committed horrendous atrocities and were intent on continuing the slaughter of US and Allies servicemen when we used technology to take the war to their homeland and ended the war.

Certainly Obama should be sensitive to one atrocity committed in large scale by the Japanese in WWII – slavery! They captured and enslaved whole populations. They stole Korean women from their homes and shipped them to foreign lands to serve as sex slaves for their soldiers. They forced their enslaved captives to work in their war effort. They even enslaved their own people, the elite even referring to the conscripts in their military in a term relating their value to the cost of the postage stamp on the postcard conscripting them.

But then perhaps what the Japanese achieved – for the short and ill fated period – is what Obama wishes to leave as his legacy here. I wonder how many of his underlings in DC view the citizens as having a value equal to the~~39 42 43~~ 44(?) cent stamp they put on their mail-in ballot?

GOP Revolution in NJ, VA … and Colorado

We have all heard that this fall’s election was not a good one for several Democrats in top level races, but most of the races settled were for more mundane but often very important local races. Many of these are “supposed’ to be non-partisan. That just means that party affiliation is not shown on the ballot but most of the time the candidates’ views on spending, taxes, regulations, etc. make it clear who is who.

One such local “non-partisan election was for the Douglas County Colorado school board. This post – prior to the election – by the “Progressive” square state blog points out that both ends of the partisanship spectrum were involved.

The good news is that all four challengers that the squares were so afraid of won! They won big! – no skinny margin recounts. The voters were given a clear choice and they voted for change – a very different kind of change than Obama is pushing.

But then this is part of the Congressional district that sent Tancredo to Washington. Oh and on that subject, I heard today Tom Tancredo is eyeing a run for Governor of Colorado.

The hits just keep on coming – No COLA for Social Security

Ok, so the average person has had a respite from inflation this year and because of that there will be no COLA (Cost Of Living Adjustment) for those on Social Security this year and maybe next year.

How many of the recipients who get no increase will buy the Democrats saying itwas not their fault – that the bill that caused it was passed years ago?

The Dems were planning in the Health Care plan to “counsel” elderly about how to decide to die and save the system the cost of helping them stay alive and healthy.

The Dems have already engineered a tanking economy that stripped them of the value of their major assets – their homes and their stock portfolios.

They have convinced thousands of people to junk perfectly usable low cost cars that people on social security might need to buy since they will not have the extra income to afford better.

Of course the Dems will probably try to push through a special COLA so that they can try to buy the votes of the elderly. And if it does not pass they will blame the Rebublicans.

Global Warming – remind me what it is supposed to be?

How is it with global warming I keep hearing how until just recently NH has skipped summer, that all the reports I hear are that nearly the entire country is having a colder than usual summer.

When there were an abnormal number of hurricanes including Katrina we were told that was a sign of global warming, that we would see high numbers of strong hurricanes every year – that Katrina and rita were just the beginning. But since Rita there have been fewer hurricanes each year and no severe ones. This year the first hurricane – Bill didn’t come along until late August.

Denver Colorado has seen 181 fewer cooling degree days than average (a measure of how much need there is for AC) and since June 1 they have even had 97 more heating degree days than average. The precipitation so far this year is nearly 5 inches higher tha average – and I fail to see how that is a bad thing in an area that is on average only slightly above desert conditions.

The “Scientists” who were claiming that the polar ice caps are certain to disappear quickly have just realised their projections were “a little off” as in they were totally wrong. They concluded that the ice caps will not disappear and have survived higher temperatures than the worst projections they have.

So, we now know that the only reason for Cap and tax is the tax – and that the power to tax is simply power over the lives of the subjects.

The economy, global warming, socialism – or name three things Obama has gotten wrong

The economy is coming back slowly – despite the best efforts of Obama Reid and Pelosi. The greatest threat to the Capitalist economy is the socialist agenda in DC. My company is selling more stuff to people drilling for oil and gas – mostly over seas. Cash for clunkers is puting new cars on the road but makes afordable used cars harder to find – the ones lots of people depend on in order to not go broke paying car payments.

Coolest summer in years, a summer that never started in New England, a growing real consensus of real scientists debunking Algore’s crap.

And now the crown Jewell of O’s socialist agenda – nationalized health care – Obamacare – is looking like it is on the ropes and his approval rating is tanking.

The Obama depression

With the Cap & Tax bill and the Helthcare “Reform” tax bill looming, with the “energy independence” bill leading us further into energy dependence, Algore claiming – correctly – that cap & tax will lead to a world governance (Tyrannical socialist) it is no wonder that the US businesses and consumers are still hunkered down and not spending.

What industry will be the next to be nationalized? Maxine Waters already threatened in a congressional hearing to nationalize the oil and gas business. They have already nationalized banks, Ford & GM, they have healtcare squred up in their sights. They are probably trying to find a way to either take over WalMart or drive them out of business.

The pharmacuticals are running scared – they agreed to cut their price by 50% to all seniors the Medicare Part D does not cover.

When US manufacturers cannot compete because of Cap & Tax, even with the 2009 version of Smoot Hawley and because of the card check bill – they will be “stimulated” = just look at the banks and governemnt motors to see how that plays out.

I don’t believe Obama Reid Pelosi and company will be satisfied until their gross desrtuction of the capitalist American economy is complete and their brand of marxist socialism is in place.

and I think they are exactly right. The Consequences of the drive to legalize Homosexual Marriage in NH will be to turn the state red! I can’t read their captions in the graph but the message got through!
