If we take their licenses, they can still vote right?
Posted on May 1, 2008
The Democrats in the NH Senate are balking on a bill to take away the driver’s licenses of sex offenders who refuse to comply with the sex offender registry laws. It can’t be they don’t want to disenfranchise these poor criminals, Gov. Lynch vetoed the bill to require them to show a photo ID to vote. And NH does not prohibit convicted felons from voting - so it cannot be that.
Perhaps the Dems realize that these perverts are more likely to vote Democrat and passing this bill would piss them off. Don’t want to be dissing the “base” in an election year!
Earl Sweeney at the Dept. of Safety is concerned that lax laws against pervs will attract them to NH.
The Dems in the NH Senate must be wishing to attract those pornographers who want to victimize 16 and 17 year olds. Also the ones who assaulted victims at least 13 who do not want to have to register as sex offenders after 10 years.
Just exactly the demographics most NH citizens want living next door (and not listed on the pervs registry).
