“Blue Dog” McIntyre votes for Huge Tax increase
Posted on March 27, 2008
It is becoming clearer all the time that when Pelosi pulls the strings of her new puppet Mike McIntyre he dances, no matter the tune. His claim to be a Blue Dog is vanishing.
Last Fall I posted a piece about the BLUE DOG DILEMMA: OPPOSE A 130 PERCENT TAX HIKE OR SUPPORT MAJORITY’S TAX-AND-SPEND AGENDA
House measure anticipates larger surpluses while allowing $683 billion worth of tax increases over five years with the expiration of Bush’s tax cuts.
It came as no surprise to some of us that McIntyre voted to end the Bush tax cuts, even though he voted to enect them in the first place. His flip flopping has got to be a tough maneuver for Pelosi and not get the strings tangled.
