This must have been the week for independent announcements.

Bloomberg Won’t Run, but Says an Independent Can Win

Now the question is how much will the Nader effort (or if it is like the 2004 campaign - effortless) hurt the Democrat and help McCain?

Nader’s campaign was so pathetic in 2004 that to get on the NH ballot GOP activists had to volunteer to get petitions signed (I know for a fact because one of my campaign people was holding his petitions at a “W” visit.)
