NH Income Tax supporters - beyond Marxism
Posted on February 21, 2008
“From each according to their ability, to each according to their need.” We all know that was what Marx said - but the new crop of Marxists in NH have taken it further.
From the Concord Monitor about how the Pro-income tax crowd hope to defeat the No New Tax pledge:
State Rep. Derek Owen, also a Hopkinton Democrat, would like to see an income tax and hopes the warrant article frees legislators to consider one. “We’ve got to stop putting the cost of the state, including education, on the backs of the poor and middle class,” Owen said. “We’ve got to get the well-to-do to contribute more than their share.” [Emphasis mine]
Right, these Utopians no longer believe everyone should pay their “Fair” share - some should pay their “Unfair” share.
