Pelosi “This is a failure”

“This is a failure.” “This created weakness and psychological defeat.”

Nancy Pelosi - on CNN:

Anchor Wolf Blitzer asked: “Are you not worried, though, that all the gains that have been achieved over the past year might be lost?”

“There haven’t been gains, Wolf,” the speaker replied. “The gains have not produced the desired effect, which is the reconciliation of Iraq. This is a failure. This is a failure.

And then there is this:

“This created weakness and psychological defeat. This also created panic, fear and the unwillingness to fight. The morale of the fighters went down . . . There was a total collapse in the security structure of the organisation.”

Oh wait, maybe some will think that the second quote was also Pelosi speaking of the situation in Iraq after the “surge”. It is about post surge Iraq, but it was written by an al-Qaeda leader about the situation with his troops after the surge.
