Clinton’s legacy continues - USS Cole
Posted on February 5, 2008
One of Bill Clinton’s least honorable episodes - the alQuaida attack against the USS Cole - is back in the news. Clinton failed to respond.
The relatives of the sailors sued the Sudanese government for damages and won.
Now a new law recently signed by President Bush is being used to try to get them a larger share of the millions of dollars the Sudanese government has locked up in US banks.
Whether they are successful or not, this should serve as a reminder to the American people that the scoundrel in chief during that abysmal period is now seeking the position of “First Lady”. Is there any clearer reminder that we do not want him or his wife within a stones throw of the White house?
