An unusual day in NH Presidential politics

Ok, having a kook walk into Clinton’s campaign office cannot be called unusual - especially if Bill is in town, but one wearing a bomb? Yeah, that is unusual.

It of course begs the question why not only she but Edwards and Obama have offices in little - out of the way Rochester. I mean - they have more retail space in Rochester than the GOP candidates have in the capital city of Concord I think. And what do they do there - very strange.

Another strange thing, also peripherally involving Hillary, is that the husband of a woman who just announced she is on Hillary’s team introduced GOP candidate Gov. Mike Huckabee at the Concord Chamber of Commerce lunch! Yep, DEMOCRAT John Lynch, whose wife endorsed Hillary last week actually introduced Huckabee - and even stayed through the whole speech and then made his way around the room greeting all the people who came to hear Mike.

Back to the nutcase invading Hillary’s office, I went out looking for the new GOP state HQ after chatting in front of the Barley House with GOP Chairman Fergus Cullen and getting directions. When I got there - at about 3:00 pm - the door was locked although there were several cars in the parking lot and I could see at least one staffer inside. I knocked and was let in - they decided wit the situation in Rochester it was prudent to at least lock their doors. It probably was not necessary, they don’t yet have any kind of sign out front so the nutcases will have a hard time even finding them (even with directions I drove through the parking lot once thinking it was not the right place).

One thing you can count on in NH during the presidential primary - there is no such thing as a slow news day!
