What a bargain that would have been!

On the surface the report in a London news site about Sadam offering to go into exile if given $1 billion dollars looks like it might have been quite a deal - considering the costs of the war.
That is until you read what his deal really was and remember who he really was. The deal:
So the deal was he gets to go hide in whatever terrorist loving country would take him and he would have lots of money and the plans for WMDs. He was already buying suicide bombers in Israel for what $25k each? I bet for $50k each he could have found one to carry a dirty bomb or a sarin bomb into Times Square New Years Eve.
No, not a situation I would have wanted. It is bad enough with UBL and the nitwit in Tehran. Besides I suspect he would have wanted to take his murderous sons with him.
I certainly won’t second guess the President on the basis of this.
